Saturn V tribute - premium t-shirt
The Saturn V is a retired American super heavy-lift launch vehicle, developed by NASA under the Apollo program for lunar exploration. Of the 15 flight-capable vehicles built, 13 were launched from Kennedy Space Center between 1967 and 1973. Nine of these carried 24 astronauts to the Moon (Apollo 8 through Apollo 17).
To this day, it remains the only launch vehicle to have carried humans beyond Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
After the Apollo program ended, the third Saturn V stage (S-IVB) was repurposed as the foundation for Skylab, the first and only space station operated exclusively by the United States.
